Replicating Victorian Coving

Following some internal home renovations we needed some coving repaired and further coving created and Alan and team did such a phenomenon so job quickly and efficiently. Great team to work with.

Energy saving

We have a 100+ year old house and needed to insulate the external walls.
This involved creating an internal wall and we needed to match the cornices in the rest of the house.
Ossett Mouldings Ltd gave us great help in selecting the new mouldings but the install team were one of the best contractors that we’ve employed in the project.
Turned up on time, very respectful, professional and competent the work completed very very quickly. The room looks exactly like it did when it was originally built.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Ossett Mouldings Ltd for any work of this nature.
The mouldings that they can produce on display in their showroom seem to be limited only by your imagination – including figures and busts etc.

Can’t recommend Osset Mouldings highly enough. We urgently needed cornice fitting to a newly installed fake chimney to match the rest of our room and had contacted numerous other companies who either didn’t have the expertise or availability to help.Within 2 days of contacting them, the work is done and to an exceptional standard. They are friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anybody 😊

Ceiling Roses

Our 1925 home needs two rooms renovating and we decided the installation of two roses would compliment the existing features. We asked Alan for a quotation which was very reasonable. Although they were very busy he managed to move work around so we could have them fitted before our decorator arrived.
Liam who fitted them arrived on time, he was really polite and friendly and did a fantastic job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ossett Mouldings and can’t wait to see my new roses all decorated.

Listed Hotel Repair

In this age of too much work and not enough tradesman, Alan, assistant and Ossett Mouldings were a breath of fresh air. After constantly being let down by others, it was refreshing to experience some old fashioned professionalism.
Came out to assess the job when he said he would.
Set a time and a date for carrying out the work and turned up when he said he would.
Completed the job in a clean and tidy manner in the time he said it would take.
My part of the deal was to provide coffee and pay up immediately I received the bill – easy! Brilliant service and thank you again!

The Cottage

Recently had coving and a ceiling rose fitted by Ossett Mouldings. The two guys Liam & Callum did a great job and we are delighted with it. It is our second order with them and we can highly recommend this company.

Coving restoration

I can not rave enough about Ossett mouldings my husband found them on the internet after we had a leak and our ceiling fell in.. They provided us with a very good match to our existing coving and the installation was made to look so simple by the fantastic fitters Liam and Callum. The firm is very friendly and good at what they do ..I for one will be using them again x

An intricate job well done

I am very happy to recommend Ossett Mouldings for their plaster replacement. Ours was a tricky job as a serious water spill from the bathroom above had seeped through and damaged the ornate cornicing in a corner of the living room. Alan took a sample of plaster away and created the moulding, which his workmen then came along and fixed into place. Everything was done with great efficiency and expertise, and we are very happy with the result. Once decorated this will look as if nothing had ever gone wrong.

Hi Alan, You’ve beaten me to it! I had hoped to email yesterday to say how absolutely delighted we are with the cornicing. It is a total transformation and the Cumberland and West Riding are perfect. James and Liam have done a superb job; they both worked really hard and it was a pleasure to have them here. Thank you for giving us the option of the roses. As you will have gathered, we decided in the end not to go for them. It was going to be a bit tight in the hall, and possibly too close to the landing hatch as well. The cornicing looks so good that we don’t think we’ll miss them. Many thanks too for the names of your 3 decorators. We are realising that a couple of jobs that are needing to be done should be out of the way before we upgrade the decor so it may be a while before we contact them – hopefully not too long.
